The eve of Election Day has fallen upon us. Tomorrow, November 6, 2012, every able body that is registered to vote should make sure to exercise the right. This is a day to stand up – or shut up. Wherever your beliefs lie, and whatever political party you favor, the time has come for the nation to make a choice. Every vote counts and Election Day is the time to make sure the issues you face within your community are heard by making a choice to elect the candidate that you feel will resolve the issues that stand before your community and this nation. Be responsible — make a difference!
If you’re a D.C, Maryland or Virginia resident, and you’re preparing to visit your neighborhood polling station as a first time voter, check your correct polling locations.
Voters, be sure you have your voter registration card, and at least one of the following items:
- A valid government issued ID card (ex. Driver’s license, U.S. Passport, Military ID, Student ID; or
- A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement or paycheck that displays your name and current address (current within 3 months of the election.)
Remember to stand firm in your knowledge, your right to vote, and the difference your voice can make. Be a part of the process and be counted on Election Day – November 6th, 2012.
